Terms of Use and Software License
Who provides VI Journey
VI Journey is provided by Exotic Guinea Pig Productions LLC, located in Topeka, Kansas, United States ("we," "us"). These terms cover the directly distributed VI Journey desktop software and connected services. Before purchasing or creating an account, review these terms and our Privacy Policy. Any mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.

For the Mac App Store edition, Apple's standard license agreement applies. Core is a one-time non-consumable in-app purchase at the price displayed by Apple. Apple handles payment and refund requests for Apple purchases. The direct-purchase refund policy below applies only to purchases billed directly by us. Vibe and Studio subscriptions are not offered in the RC11 Mac App Store release.
Software license and your work
After a valid Core purchase, we grant you a personal, nonexclusive license to install and use the purchased Core software for your own personal or commercial work. You may not resell the software, share account credentials to provide unauthorized access, or redistribute our proprietary software. Open-source components remain subject to their own licenses. Restrictions do not override uses permitted by applicable law.
You retain whatever rights you hold in your footage, audio, annotations, projects, and outputs. These terms do not transfer those rights to us. You permit us and the service providers necessary to operate VI Journey to process the information needed for the functions you request. This permission does not authorize us to sell your footage or independently publish your work.
You are responsible for obtaining rights to footage, music, likenesses, and other materials, including permission from people whose information you process. You direct editing decisions and must review outputs before publication. AI-assisted results can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable; they do not establish ownership, consent, or legal clearance.
Core and optional subscriptions
Core costs USD $25 once. It provides the purchased local app functionality. Canceling or ending an optional subscription does not cancel a valid Core license or remove your locally saved projects. A one-time purchase does not promise every future major upgrade or indefinite hosted-service availability. A fully refunded or finally reversed Core payment can remove the license associated with that payment; another valid Core purchase remains valid.
Auto-Vibe Editor costs USD $20 per month for connected, creator-directed editing. Studio costs USD $50 per month and includes connected editing and the marketing-workspace features actually offered for that plan. Both require Core. Features still marked unavailable or unreleased are not included as delivered functionality.
Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. Checkout shows the applicable price, billing interval, and any taxes before you agree to pay. You authorize recurring charges for the subscription you select. No annual plan or free trial is included in these offers.
An upgrade is effective immediately and charges the prorated difference for the remaining period. A downgrade to a cheaper plan takes effect at the next billing period. Cancel through the app's billing-management link before renewal; cancellation normally ends subscription access at the end of the paid period. Contact support if you cannot access billing management. Deleting the app alone does not cancel a subscription.
For direct purchases, you may request a refund of Core or your first subscription payment within 14 days of that payment by emailing exoticguineapig.productions@gmail.com. Later subscription renewals are nonrefundable except for billing errors or where required by law. Include your account email and purchase reference; do not send card details or passwords. Mandatory consumer rights are unaffected. A full Core refund removes the license associated with that purchase. Subscription cancellation and refunds are separate actions; cancel through billing management to stop future renewals.
Connected evidence and third-party services
Core exports and connected evidence are different. Your portable local exports contain your selected materials and organization. The internal exhaustive evidence archive is not offered as a bulk download through the connected interface. Connected features can provide bounded descriptions, selected contact sheets, and authorized review material to ChatGPT so it can assist with your requests.
Encryption protects stored or transmitted information within the applicable system. Information selected for AI reasoning is made available to the relevant service in a usable form; encryption does not make that selected information invisible to the receiving service. ChatGPT conversations and other third-party services are governed by those providers' terms and privacy settings. Conversation history is not a guaranteed backup of a VI Journey project. Keep your local project and source media backed up.
Acceptable use and service changes
Do not use VI Journey unlawfully, violate another person's rights, distribute malware, bypass access controls, or interfere with service security. We may restrict connected access for nonpayment, abuse, legal requirements, or material violations. Ending connected access does not give us ownership of your work or erase an otherwise valid Core license merely because a subscription ended.
We may update the software and connected services. Material price or term changes will be communicated before they apply when required by law. New subscription prices do not retroactively change completed billing periods. Hosted features depend on connectivity and third-party availability.
Warranties and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the software and connected services are provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted service or suitability for every workflow. Keep backups and verify renders before relying on them. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees.
